I guess to some people, it is very important that the person they choose to spend the rest (or at least a good portion) of their lives with shares the same faith or religion as they do.
I guess it makes it easier to keep the faith. Or something. I don't know. I never really thought about/got it, and we've never really done it at my house- where we can't even agree on food choices, so what do I know?
Nothing.

Enter the Christian dating site that is advertised, like, All The Time. On Every Channel.
You have no idea how much I want them to use Night Ranger's Sister Christian as their background music.
So when they are saying that they have unlocked the secret to revealing who God has chosen for you, they'd ramp up the music right at that drum solo and you'd hear:

What's your price for flight?
In finding Mr. Right
You'll be alright tonight....
I should seriously consider a career in advertising.
Until then, I will just have to go on singing my own theme songs to everything.

I haven't seen any of these commercials, but there's just something about christians that really makes me uneasy. and i grew up catholic. jewish dating site? kinda funny. christian dating site? freaky as hell.

Oh, my gosh, I just couldn't stop laughing.
Oh, and I fell in love with my husband without ever asking if he was Catholic, Christian,Atheist, Jewish or whatever and I can tell you no matter what he answered I was marrying the guy and then dealing with all the shit later, which even though we both were Catholic, guess what we still had values to disagree with because well, you know, none of us are alike or going to see eye to eye on everything.
Oh, and since I am rambling, I just had a friend participate in one of those Christian dating sites, yeah, it wasn't one of her best adventures but I think she set herself up thinking, "I am going to find myself a great CHRISTIAN guy." I was a supportive friend but I did roll my eyes in frustration with her unrealistic expectations!
LOL! I hate those commercials. I make up my own theme songs too! To my life too, there not just restricted to t.v. watching...
I have seen these commercials and they drive me batty as well!
