You are totally worth it and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

I wouldn't do the chant thingy in front of my kids and all, though. My husband, yeah...he has seen and heard weirder. There was that time when I had on the headphones listening to music and I sang along with the musicians. Something I should never do. My kids told me how awful it was. I didn't know anyone was in the house. Oh well.

This sounds moving... like really moving. This is not really the same thing but at the end of the P90X Yoga they do Oms - and I always just do a deep inhale and then quietly exhale my Om with them for fear Mike will hear me in the other room and think I'm crazy... one day he was away from the house when I was doing the workout so I let my OM flag fly and it felt amazing and like you said... almost something that would bring me to tears.. I sort of want to do it all the time now... maybe I will :)

For realz. Peeking is the only way to mess it up, I think. This sounds excellent and I wish I had been there. And I think the singsongy way sounds fun. I might have to try it. Although it also sounds weird to try it solo. Hmmn. Keep us posted on if you do.

I envy your comfort! I'd love to get there someday. I'd love to even learn to meditate, but it seems so unlike anything I've ever done, and I keep thinking that if only there were somewhere I could go and learn how I might do it.

Singing in public gives me stage fright. Chanting is a lot, lot worse. I am not sure I would have been so involved with this exercise!
